IBL deposit account for librarians

The NCC/IBL system enables its institutional users to open a deposit account. This is a special account with which you can automatically settle your requests in the interlibrary loan system. The main benefit is that your library is not faced with a continuous flow of invoices for small amounts.

How much is charged?

The rates the various institutions charge in interlibrary loan are recorded within the NCC/IBL system. In most cases these rates are based on the tariffs charged by the cooperating university libraries. There are however libraries that fix their own rates.

How do you open a deposit account?

Please, remit the payment for your deposit account to account number 68.01.67.900 with ING Bank in the name of OCLC PICA B.V./ Depositobeheer in Leiden, stating ILL-deposito and followed by your ILL number.
When you open an deposit account, please mind the following: only when your deposit account contains sufficient funds, you are able to enter your ILL requests. The amount paid into the deposit acount depends on the number of requests you enter over a period of approximately six months. When your deposit is being processed but not yet paid, we can offer you credit. After your deposit account is opened, you can send us the invoices dated after the opening date of your deposit account.

It is possible to ask for a pro forma invoice in advance for your own administration. Send an e-mail to depositobeheer@oclcpica.org.

Please note! Only institutional users can open deposit accounts. End users need to apply to their own institution to obtain an ILL deposit account.

For more information on the opening of a deposit account, please contact our Servicedesk, tel. +31 71 524 6600 or e-mail support@oclcpica.org.
